The service starts with an initial visit where the architect will discuss your project in light of the Betternest report. The visit will be either 3 or 6 hours depending on the scale of the project you would like to undertake.

Before the architect comes to your home he/she will be sent a copy of your Betternest report and spend an hour assessing the report so that they can come along fully prepared to discuss your project.

During the initial visit your architect will:

	Discuss your thoughts and requirements in order to establish a brief of your objectives
	Take rough measurements and make a sketch of the existing layout of your home
	Using these plans the architect will sit down with you and draw an outline sketch proposal showing the possible options.
	Once prepared, your architect will discuss these further with you and then amends and revise the sketches as necessary. The aim is that you will have an agreed sketch drawn proposal in outline form by the end of the visit.
